The Bicycle Service is an independent company based in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames that provides first class servicing to all cyclists, whether your bike cost £100 or £10,000. We do not sell any new bikes so the service and repair of your existing one is our priority. Our mechanics are fully Cyctech qualified with 10yrs+ experience working at the highest level.
The Bicycle Service was founded by Matthew Allingham. Matt has been a life long lover of bicycles, and has been in the industry for over 12yrs working at the top of his game.
After many years at an independent retailer Matt had found he was the go to guy within the local bike community for any mechanical issues. In 2013 he was asked by British Cycling to be a Team GB Mechanic for the Downhill Mountain Bike World Championships in South Africa. Matt looked after three riders including Tahnee Seagrave who won the Rainbow Stripes!
