Tennis-Point

Christian Miele and Thomas Welle founded the "Welle & Mielde GbR" (GbR=company constituted under civil law). A little tennis shop (50m2) was established in the "Steinfurter Straße" in Münster (Germany). The Welle & Miele GbR acquired the "Sportbotique Weikert", a big sport shop (200m2) in the "Hörster Straße" specialised in tennis and golf. The Welle & Miele GbR moved to the street "Alter Fischmarkt". The new sport shop was now near to the Lambertikirche (Lamberti church) in the city centre of Münster. Football, running and fitness were integrated in the product range. The Tennis-Point GmbH & Co. KG was founded. Maik Langenberg and Philipp Tippkemper also became CEOS of the company. From then on, the company has specialised in tennis and concentrated on the establishment of a professional online shops. The first time, Tennis-Point had a sales stall during the Gerry Weber Open in Halle (Westfalen), a big tennis tournament.
