Although the Council closed the Golf Course last October, last night's final AGM marked the very end of Tamworth Golf Club. Around 35 Members attended the event (kindly hosted by the Old Liberal House) to approve the accounts and the Committee's proposal that the residual monies be shared between the 2014/2015 Full Club Members. Attending Members received their cheques and some on behalf of those unable to attend who had provided authorisation.

Attending Members received their cheques and some on behalf of those unable to attend who had provided authorisation. Those who were unable to attend and did not authorise someone else to pick them up, will receive their cheques in the post in due course. Please cash your cheque as soon as possible after receiving it as, once the cheques have gone out, Terry Fisher will be giving notice to the Bank to close the account.
The website and email facility will also be closed down shortly, so this is probably the last communication you will get from the Club and your Committee would like to thank all members, past and present, for their support over the years.
