I studied at Trinity College of Music where I gained a BMus (Hons) Degree and a Postgraduate Diploma. I was also awarded the Band/Kurtz award for viola playing, the Vera Kantrovich Prize for solo string playing and the Sir John Barbirolli Prize for string quartet. Click on the link below to listen.
As a professional orchestral and chamber musician, I have worked with the Philharmonia Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Bergen Philharmonic, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, RTE National Symphony Orchestra and the BBC Scottish and BBC Concert Orchestras. I have also done session work performing alongside artists including McFly and various film and TV soundtracks such as Madagascar.I have over 14 years experience teaching both the violin and viola and teach privately throughout Surrey and Hampshire.
