Switalskis was founded in 1993 by the late Stephen Switalski, with the aim of providing high quality advice and representation in two areas of law: child care and criminal proceedings. Back then, we had just one office, in Wakefield, but over the years Switalskis has become one of the Yorkshire region’s largest legal firms, with excellent quality advice and service at its heart.

Switalskis is now a forward-looking firm with 19 Directors, and around 200 staff. We have brought together some of the region’s most experienced legal experts, to provide high quality service across all our areas of legal expertise, as well as legal training. In 2012, Switalskis achieved two of the Law Society’s most sought-after accreditations: Lexcel, the Law Society’s quality mark, and Conveyancing Quality Scheme accreditation.
