Our aim is to fulfil every child's dream of being part of the theatre environment, whilst building confidence, social skills, and great friendships. Whatever your ability our theatre school will teach you how to dance, act and sing; no audition required. Energy, enthusiasm, and commitment are our only entry requirements.
The Stuart Stage School was established over 30 years ago by sisters Jill and the late Janet Stuart, and is now recognised as one of the leading training schools for performing arts in the North of England. Over the years they have had the privilege of watching young people grow with confidence, stretch themselves, and build skills not just for the theatre but for life.
The school's reputation lives in the successful careers of its students who have gone on to perform in London’s West End shows such as ‘A Chorus Line’, ‘Thriller Live’, ‘Loserville’, ‘Shrek’, Mama Mia’, ‘The Sound of Music’, ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’, ‘We Will Rock You’, and ‘The Royal Variety Performance’, UK tours, Major Cruise Lines, and Television.
