Strike Taekwondo

Established September 2000 by Lisa Winteridge, 2nd Dan Black Belt.Strike Taekwondo began in a small church hall in Crossroads, Keighley, West Yorkshire. The first class saw 3 students take part with others watching. The class gradually grew over a number of years and moved to bigger premises to Oakworth Primary School followed by Oakbank School where the club ran for a number of years.-Master Ben Mitchell becomes Strike’s first student to achieve Black Belt 1st Dan after testing in Glasgow, Scotland.-2010 Strike’s first premises are secured at Keighley Business Centre alongside Keighley Amateur Boxing Club.-2010 Strike’s Chief Instructor Lisa Winteridge, successfully achieves 4th Dan Black Belt after undergoing testing by G.M. Craig Waddington 8th Dan and Master Nigel Hudson.-2011 Master Lisa Winteridge travels to Seoul, South Korea, to visit and train with the Korean Masters at the home of Taekwondo - Kukkiwon, the World Taekwondo Academy.-2017 Strike Instructor Charlotte Jewsbury, opens Strike Skipton and becoming responsible for the growth of Taekwondo in Skipton, North Yorkshire.-2018 Strike moves to new premises in central Keighley at Millennium House.General Taekwondo Information Traditional Martial Art & Olympic Sport of Taekwondo, Keighley & SkiptonExperience ~ Enjoy ~ Excel
