In June 2018, we were awarded the prestigious Rights Respecting Schools accreditation which is testimony to the fact that we are committed to academic excellence and encourage our students to thrive in a caring, respectful and supportive environment. We enjoy working with young people and preparing them to take their places as global citizens of the Twenty-First Century. Everything we do is in the interests of our students' progress and personal development. We know that a good school is about developing and equipping the whole person, within and beyond the classroom. We have a dynamic and forward thinking staff team, with a strong commitment to best practice in Teaching for Learning, backed by high quality pastoral support for students. It is an exciting time to be part of Strangford College. We are a growing school with a new build project well underway and scheduled for completion in 2021.
