As specialists in Applied Physiotherapy it is our ability to diagnose musculo-skeletal conditions that is the foundation of our work. Scans and X rays can identify disease processes and abnormalities, but an accurate clinical diagnosis can identify what structure is at fault by putting the various structures under selective tension. Research has shown that a detailed clinical examination for musculo-skeletal conditions is more accurate than scans etc and more cost effective.

Wendy Emberson literally "wrote the book on it". IFT increases the healing rate of many conditions as well as offering treatment for conditions not normally associated with current physiotherapy knowledge.
