As we've grown and gotten to know our local communities, we've come to support the many places we call home. We believe that making a difference in our customers' lives means more than offering a clean, convenient place to rent a storage unit. Improving the lives of our customers and members of our community is at the heart of our charitable partnerships, and our passions really boil down to these three areas.

Helping children and supporting groups who work to build thriving families is one of the greatest ways to change the future of our local communities. In our self storage business, we know that moving and transition periods in life are stressful for adults, but - at times - even more unsettling for kids. If we can help make childhood more carefree, we think that's worth the investment. StorageMart is proud to support local foster care organizations, youth programs, shelters, sports teams and the like, so that volunteers and staff are able to make a larger impact in our home towns.

StorageMart, and the self storage industry as a whole, have a low carbon footprint and we often upcycle former industrial or commercial buildings to repurpose them into self storage facilities.

StorageMart is one of the largest providers of renewable energy within the self storage industry. Outfitting the roofs of many of our self storage properties with solar panels is a win-win solution to create energy without increasing carbon footprints.
