Steve Guyatt Pro Massage

I have been interested in the muscles of the body ever since my father bought me a ‘Bullworker' when I was fourteen and since the age of eighteen I have always used gyms. Like most people I have had various injuries over the years mainly through my sports and DIY, but also experienced the pain of very tight shoulders due to too much PC work.

I started having regular massages at Modern Jive dance weekenders some years ago and realised the benefits of keeping my body maintained, rather than putting it off and letting tension build up leading to a bigger problem. I have tried various therapists and techniques with varying degrees of success and disappointment, but I realised what I had been missing when I had a really good sports massage. I was amazed at how quickly the therapist could identify where the issues were in my body better than I could, and I developed a keen interest in learning more about how muscle function and injuries can be supported and improved through massage.
