A man of vision, George Knowles Snr., saw the growing popularity of what ‘out-of-town' retail developments were offering in America. This was back in 1974 and he converted a disused mill in Tillicoultry into the largest and most diverse furniture showroom in Scotland. The mill's size has allowed Sterling to indulge our passion for furniture, bringing you the best from wherever we find it. We've been travelling the globe for 35 years, building relationships and guaranteeing that we consistently deliver an outstanding range of furniture for all our customers.
