Stephen Foot Web Design

My name is Stephen Foot, I live and work in Poole, Dorset, UK, as a web developer specialising in web-related technologies such as database integration and ecommerce. This is my virtual home, I can only apologise for the state of the place at the moment, I am involved in an exciting project which has taken precedence. Hopefully I'll pop back in a couple of days to tidy the place up a bit.

An Honors Graduate in Information Technology and Computing with over 30 years programming experience, I live and work in Poole, Dorset, UK, as an independent web designer / web developer.

My interest in computing began in the 1970's when I became a member of the computer club at Portchester School in Bournemouth. The computer club didn't actually have access to a computer at the time. We did however have mechanical adding machines to experiment with, this led to a first appreciation of Algorithms used in mathematical calculations.

Through the 1980's I worked on Amstrad business machines, mainly developing databases but also using spreadsheets and word processors. My first business installation for a local garage involved configuring Sage Accounting (in DOS) developing the account structure and invoice templates for a dot matrix printer.
