Over the last 15 years I have learned a lot about marketing working in-house for some large established companies, and some small growing ones. There is no doubt in my mind which is more fun - which is why I decided to set up a little company all of my own. I understand that when you start a new business it can feel like your own little baby, but marketing can be confusing and time-consuming, and not all companies have the budget to pay in-house experts or agency retainer fees.
