A Graduate Sports Therapist has experience, knowledge and qualifications in first aid, planning and implementing rehabilitation programmes as well as being skilled in sports massage and mobilisation techniques. One of the most common complaints seen by a Graduate Sports Therapist is back and neck pain. Through a full assessment a Graduate Sports Therapist is able to diagnose the reason for this pain after eliminating all other possibilities; allowing a successful treatment plan to be put in place. Treatment is individual to the needs of the client but often involves specific exercises and stretches used in conjuction with sports massage and joint mobilisation techniques.
