Specialist Physiotherapy

Currently enjoying working for Therapy fusion in Stratford, Karen has also now branched out to set up Specialist Physiotherapy. She has become a specialist in the assessment, treatment and management of a wide range of neurological conditions such as brain injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy and spinal cord injuries, and now feels that her interest in neurological physiotherapy is 'in her blood.'! Karen has completed basic and advanced Bobath training and now uses a variety of approaches to optimise a patient's ability to reach their goals.

Karen also has considerable experience with older people in a nursing home and in their own homes, aiming to address their needs and enabling an improvement in mobility and quality of life. Karen is currently undertaking a part-time Master's degree in Neurological Physiotherapy, after being spurred on when she led a research study about stroke that was published in an international physiotherapy journal.
