Southwark Law Centre

We provide specialist legal advice and representation in Employment, Housing, Asylum/Immigration and Welfare Rights Law, mainly for people who live or work in the London Borough of Southwark, but we also have funding to provide a specialist Immigration law service for people who live or work in Bromley or Lewisham. We do not provide a drop in service or provide general information. Appointments are usually made via other agencies - for example, advice centres, councillors, social workers and community groups.

We are a registered charity and are managed by a voluntary management committee of local residents elected each year at our annual general meeting. The Law Centre has a contract with the Legal Aid Agency to provide housing law and welfare benefits advice in the London Borough of Southwark.
