Alex qualified from Oswestry and North Staffs Orthopaedic hospital as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1982. She gained extensive experience both in the NHS and in private practices. She has worked both in the U.K and abroad in a variety of clinical settings before setting up in private practice in Marlow. In 1993 Alex qualified as an acupuncturist, training at the British college of Acupuncture in London. She has since lectured to colleagues training in acupuncture at Nottingham University and gained a post graduate certificate on the Masters degree course at Coventry University in 2008.

With over 30 years experience as a physiotherapist and 20 years as an acupuncturist, she believes a multi disciplinary approach is key in the management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal problems. Alex is experienced in the treatment of a wide range of conditions such as whiplash, back pain, arthritis and sports injuries.
