Lessons range from Preschool children, initially concentrating on water confidence, through to building and developing the necessary skills to develop stroke technique, through encouraging stamina, and advanced techniques for those children who wish to participate in the Development squad and compete regularly. All children are taught individually in each class to encourage them to develop at their own pace, and progress as quickly as they can.
SOS is a small personable family run Swim School, which has been running for 7 years. It is our intention to provide a quality service, getting to know children individually, working with them specifically to help progression whether confident, shy, nervous or experienced. We aim to build a rapport with parents too, to be able to provide information and support when you need it. We are always approachable and happy to discuss your child’s swimming anytime.
We have worked in sport for the last 20 years, we are both experienced in sports development, sports management, coaching, and mentoring, working for a variety of organisations, locally, regionally and nationally. In addition Michelle has had 10 years of experience working specifically within sport for people with disabilities, working as a development manager for disability sport, Regional Manager for Scope, and the English Federation of Disability Sport.
