Sophia Forrester is a fully qualified medical herbalist practicing in St. Albans. She specialises in western herbal medicine and has special interests in helping to treat day to day illnesses with the use of natural medicines.
I studied Western Herbal Medicine at Middlesex University London and graduated with First Class Honours in June this year. I have always had a particular interest in human biology, the role of the body in health and it's response to disease.
My love for natural medicines however, blossomed whilst I was in medical school and after long consideration, I left and decided to pursue a degree in herbal medicine. This was the best decision of my life and I have no regrets, thank God!
I believe that the plants around us have been placed there for our benefit. They have properties that can aid in many of the common ailments we face today. Although I believe in herbal medicine as a form of healing, I strongly consider nutrition and other lifestyle factors to be as vital in treatment and prevention.
