Solway Sawmills

In May 2008 Solway Fencing Ltd took over the premises of Solway Sawmills to create a unique opportunity to provide our customers with a fantastic range of timber products and installation services. From our purpose built facility on the west coast of Cumbria in the heart of the Lake District we are able to produce a wide range of products from Timber, Sheds, Fencing, Gates, Timber Buildings, Pallets and Stables. Your product starts its life on arrival to our factory as a timber log, this is then cut into intermediate product in the sawmill, prior to moving on to our finishing processes to become either sheds, fencing, timber buildings, pallets or rough sawn timber. We are uniquely positioned to take advantage of the forests of the North of England and Southern Scotland and as much as possible source our timber from the surrounding forests. High quality timber goods have been produced at the Maryport factory for over 15 years.
