With well appointed bedrooms, superb restaurant and our lounge bar we can make your wedding in Gretna for you and your family and friends a truly memorable occasion. Our wedding suite has a four poster bed, whirlpool bath and full facilities plus you will be greeted with flowers and champagne and strawberries. Our fully licensed bar and function room is ideal for your wedding party or for business functions and Christmas parties with us being able to take parties of up to two hundred people.

Only five minutes drive from the motorway and located right in the centre of Gretna we are ideally located close to the world famous Blacksmiths shop where over the years many couples have been married over the anvil with a traditional Scottish Piper playing in the background. The Anvil Hall is within walking distance where your wedding can be conducted by candlelight and return to the Solway Lodge for your wedding reception. We are also near to the Gretna register office.
