We provide a service to clients from the investigation stage at the police station, through to the Magistrates' and Crown Courts and if necessary the Appeal Courts. Smiths Solicitors is recognised by the Legal Services Commission, having been provided with its specialist quality mark in criminal law. The sole principal, Laurence Overend, has specialised in criminal defence work for many years and is a long term member of the Barnstaple police station and Magistrates' Court Duty Solicitor Schemes.
