At Smart Driver Academy, on average, more than one in every two (51%) of our learners pass their driving test first time. Our beginners take an average of 35-40 hours to achieve this result, while people who come to us with some previous experience tend to need between 20-30 additional training hours to achieve a first time pass. In general, people pass first time when they spread their driving lessons regularly over a period of time - one or two lessons a week is a good formula. For people with previous driving tuition experience we can provide intensive and semi-intensive driving courses tailored to your needs, and our first time pass rate for these courses is more than three from every four (77%), where the instructor's recommendations have been followed. Semi-intensive courses (spread over two, three or four weeks) tend to be more effective than one-week courses, which can be too pressurized for some learners.
