Slate Insulation Ltd. are experts in cavity wall insulation extraction. Using specialist tools and machinery, we cause little disturbance to the fabric of the building or to the occupant of the home. Slate Insulation can undertake the extraction of defective Rockwool, white wool, foam and bead insulation products from the cavity walls of domestic and commercial properties across the UK.
I have worked within the Cavity Wall industry for about 15 years and in April 2013 I decided to set my own company up. Slate Insulations was born. I started originally with just one Cavity Insulation van and used a sales company to generate business (properties for me to insulate). I then started to bring in sales myself and expanded to 3 vans with 3 crews.
As a result of my continued success, I now have seven vans with seven crews, two extraction vans and a 30 strong sales team. I have worked with block management companies; large and small and am currently working with Derbyshire Council to extract and re-insulate all of their housing stock. We have been trading a year but my company keeps on growing!
