Sirens Driving Academy

As far back as 2003 the director of Sirens Driving Academy Stephen Bell had thoughts about how to become a driving instructor, following an emergency response driver training course for Hertfordshire Police. Stephen had always had a passion for cars and loves his race cars. It was while training to become an advanced Police driver on an emergency response driver training course, the instructor stated one day “You should become a driving instructor”. That day the seed was sown, but it took another 2-3 years to come to anything. That’s exactly what Stephen thought, so instead of training fellow Police officers on emergency response driver training courses, which presented a lot of risk, he adopted the less risky position of the leaner market and enrolled and qualified as a driving instructor in 2006 and so Sirens Driving Academy was born. Initially with just one driving instructor in July 2006, by the end of the year it had risen to 3 instructors, as the work rolled in. Following successfully completing his emergency response driver training course, Stephen went onto become an advanced Police driver and spent his day on blues and twos chasing down the bad guys and at weekends trained the good guys as a driving instructor.
