Silk Trends was founded in 2007 by Ingrid Farrell and her daugther Dionne. It was a dream come true for Mother and Daughter team originally from Manchester, whose initial idea of opening the hairdressers in Chingford came from realising there were no professional quality hairdressing services in the area for the local community.
