Shoto-Shin Karate Academy

Was founded in 2011 by Chief Instructor Sensei Philip Harris 3rd Dan. Its main syllabus is based on Kyokushinkai Karate and elements of sparring methods from Shotokan and Kickboxing. Sensei Philip Harris has been trainning and teaching in Karate since 1999 and has also covered Lau Gar kung fu and jujitsu In his ever learning journey of martial arts. Sensei has also began to further develop his training as he is now currently studying Wado Ryu Karate under the E.W.S.K.A.

Shoto-Shin was created for all students of all ages and abilities who are willing to train hard and learn a method of self defence. Our focus is on : Confidence, positive attitude, self control, discipline, flexibility, focus, fitness and respect. Shoto-Shin Karate Academy is for individuals of all ages and abilities who are willing to train hard and develop themselves. We believe if you train hard, you'll not only be hard, you'll be hard to beat.
