Shirley Garage

Owned and run since 1971 by Charlie Ross, Shirley Garage has been a solid, reliable and trustworthy business in the community. Originally installing refurbished engines and gearboxes into many makes of cars. Times changed along with vehicles with the need to replace engines and gearboxes reduced to the point that the garage had to change it's business to offer MOT's as well as servicing and repairs. 2012 saw the most comprehensive change to the appearance of the garage with the development of the house Charlie and his young family first lived in in Bookham. The house has been developed into a state of the art MOT facility, capable of undertaking MOT's to your vehicle while you wait. 2014 will see a change in management with Charlie taking a very well earned retirement with his son in law Matt Rivett taking over the reins. Matt's background in motorsport has served him well with the energy and enthusiasm to continue Charlie's hard work and excellent reputation as a fair, honest and high quality independent garage.
