Shire Drive Ltd. was founded in 1994 as SHIRE School of Motoring Ltd, subsequently changing our name to Shire Drive Ltd. in 2011. The company changed ownership in April 2012, having been established and owned by Alan and Cornelia Dismore in 1994. The Company is now owned by Graeme and Lian Wilson. Shire are still a family owned and run business offering training to car drivers at all levels from complete beginners through to advanced drivers. Shire offer training for drivers of both manual and automatic modern cars and have both male and female instructors.

All our instructors are friendly and mature in their outlook. We are committed to providing a high quality of service, and normally use only fully qualified instructors. Where trainee instructors are used we are committed to informing our pupils of this and to providing assistance and back-up to both the pupil and trainee instructor, to ensure a great level of continued service.
