Shepherd Construction Welwyn Ltd. Is a general building company based in Welwyn Garden City. We provide high quality building work in the local and surrounding area. We were established in 1987 during the house building crash which occurred after Chancellor Lawson cancelled married persons’ mortgage relief. Our first contract was to re-roof a listed manor house at Bramley, South Yorkshire.
We are a general building contractor and encompass all trades in our industry including services and can provide advice on building problems and possible works in the Hertfordshire and North London areas.We provide itemised estimates where appropriate to enable clients the maximum flexibility in their choices and these estimates provide the basis for interim valuations should the estimate be accepted.Over the years the company has evolved a safety policy to insure, from management to site labour force, our works are planned in a safe and efficient manner. Where we work on properties with the client in residence we maintain a clean and tidy site to insure safe working and access at all times.
