I am a professional violinist and violin teacher with over 9 years' teaching experience. Alongside private lessons, I have taught in schools, coached youth ensembles and performed with ensembles from London to Lithuania. I first picked up a violin aged 10 and have loved it ever since, something my students tell me is an infectious trait. By 17, I knew I wanted to pursue music professionally and applied to study at Sheffield. At university, I studied with Nina Martin and took part in masterclasses with Trevor Pinnock as well as the Wihan Quartet and Sorrel Quartet.
During that time, I led all the University's orchestras and also formed and directed my own ensemble, performing regularly in concert series and festivals. I also took on students of my own for the first time, something I really enjoyed, and began to develop my skills as a teacher alongside my development as a performer. For my postgraduate Diploma, I moved to London to study with Ofer Falk at the Trinity College of Music.
