I studied Psychology for 3 years and gained my degree but always felt like I was going down a path that did not suit me. I have had horses since I was 7 and have always had numerous dogs around me and eventually decided that working with animals was where I felt most at home.

I studied Psychology for 3 years and gained my degree but always felt like I was going down a path that did not suit me. I have had horses since I was 7 and have always had numerous dogs around me and eventually decided that working with animals was where I felt most at home.
I decided to start up my own business after training for my City and Guild qualification in Somerset. I have had many jobs in my life but never had I enjoyed waking up and not dreading the thought of going to work until I trained at Canine Design. I gained a distinction grade which in 17 years of teaching I was only the 2nd student to leave with that level of grading and now work for myself running a mobile dog grooming service.
