Sei Jou Kai Ju Jitsu

The club was formed in 2013 by a small group of Ju Jitsu Black Belts led by Roger Knowles Sensei, in the centre of Northampton. Founded on the principles of honesty, integrity and hard work the club has slowly grown in numbers; not by opening its doors to everyone but by inviting individuals that seem to show the appropriate attitude to study Ju Jitsu. We aim to create an atmosphere for like-minded practitioners to develop skills free from the doctrine and politics that can typically follow martial art clubs.

At Sei Jou Kai we believe in the traditional Budo of Ju Jitsu but also have an understanding of the differences between the Koryu principles and the practicality of modern world application. We are not a club looking to make money by selling a product; we are a traditional club with traditional values.
