Scuffins Photography

Hi! I'm Chris Scuffins, an alternative photographer from the Cotswolds; together with my partner Helen, we specialise in soft, emotive portrait and wedding photography using both digital and film. We spend our time travelling the country, meeting wonderful people and photographing beautiful, natural moments. We would describe our work as soft, organic and natural.

Yeah, that's me, standing by a big old cave. You can tell it's me, even from this distance because of my lovely orange hair. This picture says a couple of things about me; first that I like to explore, I don't mind getting my feet a bit dirty or standing in the rain for no reason. In my pocket, is a 1971 Polaroid SX-70 film camera. I love film and old things.

So.based on my fashion sense and this photograph, I'm not a particularly cool person. I'm actually a bit of a geek, and proud of it. I find the biggest inspiration out of the smallest things. I'm positive, adventurous, and I love learning, as much as I love teaching.

Just ask my partner Helen, who's been there by my side for nearly 9 years. She's also recently started photographing weddings with me, and is in charge of music in the car on our road trips. Together we live in our little home in the Cotswolds. Besides photography, life is filled with loud music and getting lost on weekend walks.
