I was born in County Durham, North East of England and my musical life started when I used to be a chorister at the age of 7 and also used to play drums at that age too.
I took music as an option at school and loved it – so much so that I decided to study music at the age of 16 at college upon leaving comprehensive school. I decided that I wanted to become a professional musician and play the guitar & bass guitar as my chosen instruments. I then got into sports and music took a back seat for a few years, but it all came back at the age of 13, getting into rock & metal as a kid.
