Sandy Lodge has invested considerably to bring the practice facility, which is located close to the Club House and First Tee, up to the standards of today's player. All visitors and societies will enjoy the free use of the practice facilities. Our 12 bay driving range is fitted with new mats with variable tee heights. A re-graded area with multiple distance flags at 50, 100, 150 & 200 yards helps players determine club selection and provide aiming points, which aids accuracy on the course.

Located North West of London on the border of Hertfordshire and Middlesex, Sandy Lodge is within easy reach of City and the surrounding countryside.

The site was chosen primarily because of its sandy soil and excellent drainage, and as a result, the course is open year-round and enjoys a reputation of being playable even in the most extreme weather conditions. The course takes advantage of the area's natural terrain while making use of heather, mounding, and strategically placed bunkers, challenging players of all ages and skill levels.

The Club has continued to invest heavily in its main assets in recent years and has unrivalled practice facilities which include a 12 bay driving range, practice bunker, chipping areas and a large putting green, all of which are immediately in front of the Clubhouse.
