Established in 1978 by Joe Sandwith the company has built a solid reputation based on the quality of their work and a high level of customer satisfaction.

The company offers a full range of services, ranging from small repairs to major re-roofing work, and everything in between. Specializing in traditional slate they have worked on some of the areas landmark buildings including Rowrah & Armathwaite Hall's, the Borrowdale Hotel and the Inn on the Lake at Glenridding.
Joe's and his team are traditional time served master roofers, with many of them starting with the company straight out of school. Although they have a clear passion for Cumbrian slate they work with all kinds of roofing materials including stone slate, natural slate, plain tiling, lead work and other roof coverings. They take pride in their work knowing that they repair, refurbishes, restore and re-roof only to the highest of standards.
