Over 40 years ago Sandman opened their first location, a quaint Inn located in Smithers, British Columbia. Since then we have grown into a truly national company with over 40 locations across Canada and growing. From those humbling beginnings Sandman Hotel Group has come a long way. We were recently awarded the prestigious Pinnacle award as Hotel company of the year. In 2011, Sandman expanded into the UK with Sandman Signature Newcastle Hotel, and in 2012, was awarded the coveted RICS North East Renaissance Award for Commercial Property of the Year and Large Hotel of the Year by Visit Britain for North East England.
