Architects and Architectural Technologists are the only professionals fully trained in all aspects of a building project, from start to finish. Because of the length of the training course with practical experience forming part of the qualification, it is difficult to qualify, so much so, that the use of the title 'Architect' is specifically protected by law.
Not everyone is a professional, anyone calling themselves an "Architectural Consultant" or "Architectural Designer" may not have completed this training, and some may have no qualifications at all.
