S T H Surveys

Chief Surveyor, and Company Director, Steve Reed (HD Surv, AMinstCES) qualified from East Midlands University (Formally Trent Polytechnic) in 1985, having completed a three year HND in Engineering Surveying. He then worked for a number of Private companies including Simmons Surveying Partnership and Percy Bilton Construction. He gained extensive experience in the fields of Civil Engineering Surveying, Setting out, Land Survey and Measured Building Surveying. In 1989 he left the UK to work for Halliburton Geophysical, co-ordinating seismic lines using both conventional traversing techniques and G.P.S. systems in the deserts' of the Middle East. On his return he worked as a senior surveyor for one of the countries largest measurement surveying companies, Engineering Surveys Ltd, (ESL) In 1999 he formed STH Surveys (latter Reed Geomatics Ltd) which provides measurement surveying services to Architects, Planners, Property Consultants, Building Surveyors, Construction Companies and Private Clients throughout the United Kingdom and overseas.
