We have been established in Bedford since 1975 and over the years have operated salons across the region. We have an energetic team delivering a full range of professional salon products and services offering great value for money with absolutely no hidden extras.
Franco Russo is a member of the World Federation of Hairdressing Schools (British section). Franc started hairdressing back in 1974 at the Alan International Hairdressing School. He passed with honours then went onto the Vidal Sassoon Hair Academy, Bond St, London. Franco opened his first salon in Wellingborough in 1976. Russo Hairdressing was originally known as FilippoRusso. Franco and Filippo were the founding partners, eventually running half a dozen salons in Northampton, St Neots, Wellingborough, Bedford and Kettering.
In 1984 they were asked to showcase their cutting techniques for the world renowned Goldwell Hair Cosmetics, in Eastbourne. As the business grew, Franco and Fillipo decided to run salons under their own names, with their own individual identities. The business has survived the ups and downs over four decades, and has always maintained it's reputation for quality, service and value for money.
