The course continued as 9 holes until the early 1970's when it was extended to 18 holes, this being completed in 1977. The course, which is situated on the highest part of Runcorn, is a mature tree-lined parkland course, with easy walking with views over the Mersey and Weaver Valleys. The course has superb greens that will test the best of putting skills. Visitors and societies are met with a warm welcome and can enjoy good facilities, a superb dining room with high quality meals.
