Rubie Rae Bespoke Jewellery Design based in Yorkshire, have evolved from the combined skills of the Rubie Rae team led by Robert and Melanie. All the work has been designed in our studio in the beautiful surrounding of the spa town of Harrogate England. Frustrated by the restraints of working for others, we decided to take the leap of faith and went it alone back in 2005, yes it been a challenge but we have learnt a lot and met some great, like minded people on the way.

We may still be seen as a young company but don’t be fooled, as a UK based designer jewellery company we have over 30 year’s industry experience in a highly competitive market. Robert learnt his skills working for one of Italy’s finest gold chain manufactures while Melanie is classically trained in jewellery design and manufacture, and has headed up the Design Department for one of Europe’s largest Jewellery companies. This gave her the opportunity to travel the world and gain understanding and inspiration from the most unlikely of places.

Rubie Rae in known for its contemporary elegantly and flirty jewellery, taking inspiration from what’s happening in the art and fashion world. Melanie likes adding her own slant on it, that has a hint at fashion and a smile at style.
