I set up Roundcircles Marketing in 2008 having worked a number of years for SME's in marketing management roles. Back in 1998 when I was a PA, my employer asked me to put together an advert. When I said "but I don't know anything about marketing" I was told that I knew enough about the company - and afterall, marketing was just common sense. Not totally satisfied with the answer, I decided to study the 'art of marketing'.
After completing the Institute of Marketing's Advanced Certificate and Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing, I then studied an Executive MBA at Newcastle University. Always up for a challenge, setting out on my own was probably one of the most daunting, but most rewarding things I've done.
