Rockingham Community Day Nursery is situated about 200 yards from Elephant and Castle Station. Built as a Nursery in 1987, in response to the need for nursery facilities for children aged 2-5 living in the Rockingham Estate. The premise is spacious, well heated, bright and airy. We offer separate facilities for each of the age groups with a full range of equipment to ensure a high standard of development and education.
Rockingham Community Day Nursery is a purpose built Community Nursery which was opened on October 12th 1987 in response to the need for nursery facilities for under fives living on the Rockingham Estates. The nursery has been designed to cater for approximately 32 young children. We are registered with the charity Commission as a childcare and educational charity and are run by a parent Management Committee (Charity No 290139).
Our Nursery is OFSTED registered and inspected. Also displayed on the board are: Our Policies and Procedures, Nursery Themes, our Key Persons and children.
