I am married with 2 grown-up sons and a family dog. I am a trained and qualified Nursery Nurse having worked in Social Services Day Nurseries. I have been a registered childminder since 1984 and have cared for children from a wide variety of backgrounds and abilities. I regularly attend training courses to update myself in all aspects of childminding, and hold a current First Aid certificate for babies and young children. I feel that a child's development will blossom within an emotionally secure and loving environment where the needs of each individual are respected and valued.
