Established in 2002 and based in Shrewsbury, Robotic Surveys Limited was founded by Matt Butler who has over 20 years experience in surveying and civil engineering. Matt started his professional career as a surveyors assistant working on major earthworks projects throughout the U.K. He then moved on to become land surveyor for a civil engineering & building company before starting Robotic Surveys.

Robotic Surveys specializes in carrying out land & topographical surveys, measured building surveys, setting-out and 3D modelling for many sectors, including architects, developers, consulting engineers and the construction industry in general. Land Surveying is an essential element in the development of the human environment & has been since the beginning of recorded history.
