Rigtons was founded in 1974 and we are General Insurance Brokers dealing with commercial businesses (small-medium enterprises and specialist sectors), non-profit organisations and private clients. Trading for over 40 years we were originally based in the Spa Town of Harrogate before moving to Guiseley in 1986. We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (ref 118666) and previously the Financial Services Authority (FSA). Where many brokers are now centralising their services or selling to nationals, resulting in clients losing personal contact, our business has always been built upon creating close working partnerships with our clients and high professional service standards.

This is why many of our clients have arranged their insurances through us for years, often many generations in family firms, and have recommended us to friends and business colleagues. In 2014 we celebrated our 40 year anniversary so have a long heritage.
