At your initial visit, which can be up to an hour, we take a thorough history of your symptoms, your medical history and details about your activities, diet and lifestyle.

We then conduct a careful and detailed assessment of your movements and areas of muscle tension to establish a diagnosis. It may be necessary to do some orthopaedic or neurological tests. Every patient is different and the treatment plan is always tailored to the individual. Osteopathic treatment generally consists of soft tissue massage and stretching of the muscles, mobilisation of affected joints and gentle manipulation.
